Background

Founded in 2006, Life of Hope (LOH) is a multifaceted community services organization that seeks to positively impact the lives of youth and immigrant families in a manner that reflects both their identity and needs through a range of innovative programs and services. Located in Central Brooklyn, Life of Hope is a hub of hope, access, critical resources, and prosperity for the youth and families of Central Brooklyn. LOH has embarked on developing its new headquarters, the Life of Hope Brooklyn Community Center, located at 4123 Avenue D.
Life of Hope has acquired an 18,000-square-foot former Rite Aid to create a new community hub in Central Brooklyn. The space will offer health and wellness services, maternal care, IT and vocational training, job services, youth entrepreneurship, and shared incubator space. This project will expand LOH’s programs for youth and immigrants, support educational and employment opportunities, and strengthen access to essential community resources.

Avenue D Project

We are currently in the process of developing a major community project in Brooklyn — a transformative initiative that includes a new hub for health, economic empowerment, and support services, serving thousands of families annually.
